Hi friends! I’m a visual artist raised in Flint, MI and now residing in Los Angeles, CA. My work is influenced by surrealism and contemporary abstract art. I mostly work with oil paint, but love to experiment with all different kinds of mediums.
When I feel guilty for posting about my art while the world burns, I think of Mister Rogers and Bob Ross, tiny offerings of gentleness and wonder are still necessary. My art isn’t escapism to ignore the world, it’s how I survive it.

Fun fact. Between Planes was supposed to be my first mural in LA but the budget went from we'll provide supplies to "oh we didn't think supplies would cost that much". I respectfully declined.

What is the best advice or lesson an art teacher gave you? I'll go first. "Drips are sad, even bigger is even better, red white and black is the color scheme for mediocrity." You kind of had to be there I guess lol

Currently obsessing, drooling, dropping on my knees in love with this random perfectly straight line. I mean creating these are absolute chaos so when something like a straight line occurs I marvel at it.

The TikTok ban shows if our government wants to they can. So health insurance, gun control, student loan debt and better education are all things they’re loudly saying are not a priority. I’m suddenly feeling very French.

As a millennial I understand apps come and go. But to have one taken away with zero evidence while others remain that have actually committed crimes. So yea I deleted my meta apps off my phone for a while maybe indefinitely.

Like so many people I was laid off because of Covid. I turned to social media specifically TikTok and not only found an amazing community in a difficult time but also income security that I had previously lost. Getting ready to lose it again just after the holidays is so disheartening. 😞
