It would be nice if legislators could pass a law that forces tech companies to have our permission for AI scraping, rather than letting them force it in on us like someone who doesn't know what consent it.

I'm not sure if this exists - but I'd love an AI which works with books, where you can say what page number you're up to, and can ask questions about what you're reading, or be brought back up to speed without any spoilers for the rest of the book - if you've had a hiatus for example.

I saw the film #HoldingTheMan based on Timothy Conigrave's book years ago, and I didn't fully appreciate it then.
The book, while able to be categorised as a "horny tragedy", is an emotional read, and something which hits you hard.
I strongly recommend it.
