Who re-negotiates a $2.6 million loan without getting the terms in a signed writing? What court thinks that a contract that, by statute, has to be in writing to be enforceable doesn’t have to be in writing if it can be performed within a year? Florida.

When Darian Mensah, entered the transfer portal, Duke University tried to enjoin him from doing so. Mr. Mensah’s agreement with Duke enabled it to seek such injunctive relief, while he would have been barred from doing so.
