I'm not a huge video game person, but watching my son play Red Dead Redemption, and playing a little bit of Starfield makes me think a Jeremiah Johnson style game with no discernable story line, or "main quest" but having to manage a life in the mountains could be a game I sunk a lot of time into.

Man, I love "The Darkest House." And also really hate the "The Darkest House."
