Unity and solidarity were absent when we needed them most—during the Eurozone crisis, the pandemic, and the refugee crisis. Now, all of a sudden, we're expected to feel and act as Europeans—just to justify massive investments in warfare? No, thanks.

🚫⚔️ The last thing the EU needs is militarisation.

As a whole, the EU’s armies are already a sufficient deterrent against Russia. Waging war against the EU—which, remember, includes a nuclear power—would be suicidal for both Putin and Russia. Pretending otherwise is disingenuous.
"Europe is ready to assume its responsibilities.

ReArm Europe could mobilise close to €800 billion for a safe and resilient Europe.

This is a moment for Europe. And we are ready to step up."
