Just spotted a Lobelia flowering in the garden. Always get one or two self-seeding every year. And a solitary fruit on the Strawberry tree. Tasted a bit bland and gritty. Nothing to write home about! #Lovemygarden #AutumnisHere

Walking round the garden and checking all has been put away before the storm hits and just noticed the Strawberry tree is flowering. Will have to check whether it is normal for it to flower at the end of summer... It also has a fruit maturing from last year! #Lovemygarden #AutumnisHere

We're almost at the autumnal equinox! Skies are getting darker, good for sky gazing. And there are still plenty of flowers blooming in the garden. Butterfly Stonecrop, Common Heather, Heath and White Japanese Anemone, all flowering in the garden this week.

The first week of September, and finally we have had a lot of rain! No more running round with the watering can! Hopefully hosepipe ban will be over soon. Elaeagnus X Ebbingei, Pearly Everlasting, Dogwood and Hydrangea, all flowering in the garden this week.

Not liked the wind this week. It dries up the rain so quickly. Some interesting flowers in the garden though! Elodea is flowering in the wildlife pond, one of my ferns is sporing, Red Montbretia and Yellow Hollyhock are also in bloom. #Lovemygarden #Summertime
