When I get these requests, I reply that without a documented reason, I am required to give everyone the same treatment. But it is maddening.

But these requests come in more frequently and later in the term than they ever did before.

At the @nationalarchives.gov.uk.web.brid.gy in Kew, looking at the records for the three African divisions that fought in Burma as part of the 14th army. This is the first clear mention of Seth Anthony, a Ghanaian who was the first African to become an officer in the British Army.
