@footballcliches.bsky.social not sure anyone's pointed out but Amorim definitely has "Lampardian Transition" energy. Don't think he's close to the master but definitely something to keep an eye out for.

"Speed" was a bit of a laugh and compelling at best. "Speed 2: Cruise Control" is a horrible dismal mess and I'm only about 20mins in. Tragic waste of Dafoe.

Watched the film; "Speed" for the first time in my life. It is daft, ridiculous and weird but I enjoyed it and I'm onto the sequel soon as possible. Definitely makes that Father Ted series 3 episode way more funny to me now.

Bit cross at how Magneto is able to get his helmet back. Nobody chucks that stuff out once it's confiscated in movies. You know how integral it is to someone awful, put your foot through the bastard or toss it on a skip for goodness sake. Enjoying this film though, must be said.

Let's have it right; Fassbender / McCavoy - Stewart / McKellen are all compelling. Peter Dinklage doing great stuff here also he's awesome.

Excellent quicksilver scene. Love a bit of that. He has a kind of Johnny Depp to him I think, perhaps I'm being too kind. Starting to enjoy this film.

The key to casting Wolverine is finding an actor who literally never ages. Think they nailed it here. Also sidenote; thought Jackman was going to hang dong for a second there. Still plenty of runtime left.
