I think the best piece of advice I can offer, in terms of PROMOTING your work (from someone who's been writing/publishing for about fifteen years now), is just to be as natural (and yourself) as you can be.
When you force it, it doesn't sound authentic. I've learned this a few times.

My posting content every day for the past three or four days strategy didn’t seem to do much in the way of engagement across the board.
But, that’s OK — because not only was it time consuming, but it felt like there was a lack of authenticity as well.

I wish they would introduce the X-Men into the Marvel universe in a more present way, because I would REALLY love for them to do a Storm movie at one point.
