If I ever got reincarnated I would not want to come back as a personal wireless printer.

Whoa. This jam is giving goose bumps. I totally forgot it was Piranhas again. Pony’s bassline is Bonkers.

#NowPlaying Piranhas jam by #umphreys 11/7/25. Just go right into the jam. Then it just goes crazy from there. The bass and drums thing here is makes its sound like a Talking Heads jam. Then Joel adds to the funk. Then the guitars add to the funky but make it spacey.

#NowPlaying In The Kitchen jam by #umphreys 11/7/25. In places it sound like Hysteria by Def Leppord. At least in the beginning. The duel guitar soloing with synth is background is really cool. It keeps that going for little bit.

#NowPlaying In The Kitchen by #umphreys 11/7/25. This was another killer jam.

Most insane episode of Chair Company so far. You’ll see within the first few minutes.

#NowPlaying At A Distance by Jeff Tweedy. If you’re looking for a song thats a coming of age lullaby this song will work.
November 10, 2025 at 9:47 PM
#NowPlaying Gun by Uncle Tupelo. It’s so amazing how Jeff Tweedy can pull off playing this solo with just an acoustic guitar. Gives the off the same vibe as the recording from 34 years ago.

For those inquiring minds:

the last two music documentaries I watched didn’t start off with said artists getting a drink from their espresso machines.

Why are these articles so perplexed that people aren’t going out to eat recently? We would if we could. It’s no secret why people aren’t, that’s the thing. There’s no buzzword for that though.

#NowPlaying Mayonnaise by The Smashing Pumpkins. Such a beautiful song. Though I prefer the acoustic version.

Another great trio of songs is Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes > You Can Call Me Al > Under African Skies. It’s the heart of the album.

#NowPlaying Much Obliged Jam by #umphreys 11.8.25. Another jam that seems normal at first. Some
Hesitation than lands in a dismantled Mrs. Robinson’s strut. Actually this jam is dramatic. You don’t know who’s gonna make the first move. Quiet bass line. Jake has a chord progression but the Rhodes

#NowPlaying Wizard Burial Ground by #umphreys 11/8/25. I still love the fact that they played this in a Barnes & Noble in Ann Arbor in 2007 with a Deck the Halls tease.
November 10, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Another set that would really different for #DeepDive would be just a get weird/ noise jam in crazy time signature into a giant peak.
November 10, 2025 at 6:36 PM
#NowPlaying Slacker by #umphreys 11/8/25. Thought it was gonna be a normal jam. Right from
The start is didn’t.
It’s like a Midwest calypso into some sort of shoegaze ambience.

What if instead of panic attacks we had picnic attacks? Can you imagine how much more pleasant that would be. Instead of existential dread it would be sandwiches and potato salad with the some friends and maybe a potential love interest.

What if the Cure covered “Let’s Save Tony Orlando’s House” or “Stockholm Syndrome?” That would be definitely interesting.
