When you're 40 miles from a tar road with no agenda, life is good.
Ever hear of Maine's ghost trains stuck out in the Allagash with no access road to them? Well, they are out in the middle of nowhere but actually not a bad trip and hike if you ever wanted to see them. Here's a few pictures from my trip. This is a trip worth doing, start early and plan for the day.

Maine has more lighthouses than any other state in the U.S. with around 65 historic beacons of light shining up and down its coastline.
