My acupuncturist is the sweetest person ever and I wanted to treat her to some sweetness. She drapes a little fleece blanket that has been washed about a thousand times over me so I decided to make some new blankets for her. These were pure stash busting. Backed in a red flannel! #quiltsky

My dear friend and coworker announced she went on bed rest because her newest little one wants to come soon. So I got to work. This is two small charm packs and I’m pretty obsessed with how this turned out. Backed in a blue fluffy flannel, young one is sure to be warm always. #quiltsky

The December block of the month has an error on the pattern but honestly I don’t care. I like it like this. And I’m done with all 12 months! Finally! Now to finish with some sashing!

This commissioned baby quilt was so fun! I did my first curved pieces and my first half-triangle rectangles. When long-arming it, I added wind and branches and I adore it. It’s the Voyageurs pattern from quilting the national parks. #quiltsky #finishedquilt #newquilt

A while back I loaded this quilt on the long arm and had a terrible time with it. The thread shredded, stitches were skipped and it was just awful. So I put it in timeout for a while and decided to give it a new shot. #quiltsky #newquilt #pixelatedheart

Before starting the Kona Cotton Block of the Month club quilt I’d have told you my least favorite part of quilting was binding. Now it’s definitely trimming half square triangles. But may and June look so good!

I am gonna need every single MLB announcer to learn how to say Asian names properly. Especially South Korean names. They seem to have no problem with Shohei Ohtani, but Kim Hye Seong? His name is not difficult. Please learn how to say it correctly. Respect the man.

Started making a disappearing 4-patch quilt out of a ton of Kaffe Fasset charm packs and I’m just not sure how I feel about it. I think it’s way too much even with the extra neutral (which would be in all blocks). #quiltsky #quilting #newquilt #disappearing4patch
