Happy New year everyone! I figured to get the year started I'd finally Post my girl's Character Sheet that I made! I had been holding off because I'm mixed feelings about her legs, but figured I'll just get this done and over with. Overall though I'm pretty happy with it!

I've been playing some Cult of the Lamb again lately, not for the dlc sadly, but for a fun archipelago kmk implementation I've been doing with friends
So for fun I tried to draw the lamb from memory. His crown gained spikes and his cloak lost them but I did pretty good for the most part!

Finally finished my refresh! I love how bubbly it feels, though I may miss the more elegant vibe.
But I love the fluffy hair, big eyes, better jacket spikes, and gem shading. I'm happy with the results!

4 cute emotes for my sister to use of her character I designed her. The top left being a pog emote, top Right being a love blush, bottom left is some gamer rage, and bottom right is some greedy plots. With my logo just slapped across the center since I figure she would rather me cover bits and bobs. These are something a little different from what I've made her before but I think came out beautifully. Plus with her character being heavily Binding of Isaac inspired I had put in cute little details, like yum heart on the blush one or cent symbols instead of dollars on the greed one. I treasure how cute these came out!

Happy Holidays! I can finally show the Christmas gift I was working on

As I mentioned my papaw died earlier this year, which means he unfortunately didn't finish this project he started for my sister. So for Christmas I stressfully completed it for him. Happy to report my sister cried seeing it. 🩷
This is my Christmas present for my younger sister, done in acrylic paint. Something I hadn't worked with in a few years (not counting the princess Gem piece I recently posted, that was done in the midst of this piece's making). vvvvvvvv My papaw had originally made both of us plaques with our names on them with characters we adored when we were about 3. But a few years ago my sister got a name change, so papaw wanted to make her a new one. Unfortunately earlier this year he started losing precision in his hands and then eventually passed... My mom went and hunted it down with gram after his passing and asked if I wanted to finish it for my sister for Christmas. I was nervous, but I said yes. It originally only had her name with gold shimmer paint and the vine, but I did know he wanted to do her top 3 pokemon (Litwick, shiny minior, and Porygon 2). I just didn't know where or any other details... So after half a month of concept designs I figured out placement, flowers to incorporate the vine, and some star sparkles inspired from her old sign. ~°•* ∆*•°~ It was a month or so amount of work with a lot of people helping me with edits At every step of the way. I cried a few times when I started the project with all of the grief, but Gram says papaw would be proud which filled me so much relief. Especially because I didn't even want to cover too much of papaw's work when I started it. In the end my sister cried with joy when she saw it, thinking the piece had never even been started. So my work luckily paid off in bringing some joy. I just wish he could've gotten to see it... A secondary image of the plaque to attempt showing the shimmery gold paint on some of the letters and on shiny minior. It's quite hard to show on camera compared to in person.

Took a break from drawing centaurs and painting a Christmas gift to paint my pony oc. I needed a pink pony break lol
It was heavily inspired by a Fluttershy painting I had seen briefly somewhere in the Pinterest hellscape and realized I hadn't drawn plain gem in a while. She was a good refresher!

Finally getting back to drawing like normal. Started with drawing some pixie centaurs and this was the first one that finally came out how I wanted. Ignore the horrible color choices please, I was using the colors I had nearby. But finally I'm happy to start drawing semi good again lol

A new pixie pony centaur design with a yellow shell body and tiny antenna, pink fluffy legs and horse ears, and white sleeveless shirt, blue and purple short hair, a dark skin stone, and Light blue butterfly esk shaped wings. Was trying to make a page of variations of my pixie designs but so far have only loved how she's come out so far. ( Minus her colors, there's too many happening at once. May have to change her hair and wings if I draw her again.) If we see her again she'll definitely need a name!

I'm semi back from life being rough!
Life had hit pretty hard with multiple family emergencies hitting at once. Including the loss of my grandpa who always loved to see my art. So drawing has been extra hard knowing he can't see anything I'd ever make again
But I miss my hobby and need to keep going
A sketch of My old inner child working through my grief while holding the quilt my grandpa made me before he passed. I'm devastated and wish I spent more time with him, even though I really thought he had more time. But I know life keeps going so I need to too, even if I'm not completely better. Sometimes the grief hits me like a giant wave in the ocean, and sometimes it's just a wash on the shore, all while other life emergencies have joined the waves as well but I won't get better by avoiding life and activities I used to love. I hope I can get back into some sort of normalcy soon. Even if my normal has changed 🩷

Was burnt out a bit from art fight but I'm back at it again! I made this #digital piece for a friend to use as a #ProfilePic and another project they're doing. I enjoyed drawing this spoopy pumpkin, and now I've drawn many of my friends' profile pics for discord now!

Overall for my first year of Art Fight I had a great time and managed to make 16 attacks. Enough for one for every other day!
I also unwittingly completed some goals I didn't really realize I had such as working on drawing more backgrounds, and experimenting with layouts! In the end I enjoyed it!

So many #ArtFight attacks! This is Pump by stalepancakes on AF! He's part of a page called Purrlollies though where there were options to draw many different little guys. But I liked Pumps colors a lot so I chose him. I threw him into an anime transition screen and ended up loving it!

I have another #ArtFight piece! This is my first #revenge I got to do! Meet Stuffy, created by MOXXIE3 on Art fight. They had attacked Mr. Wuggles so when I saw they also have a bunny plush OC I knew what I had to do. I had a lot of fun working with this one and am pretty proud!

Wanted to show off one of my attacks I did for #ArtFight! I'm pretty proud of this one. This is of Sheriff Sawyer the duck (Owned by gingerbread-dog on Art fight) and Flapjack, an adorable hybrid creature,(Owned by fishbitties on Art fight). My soul said they had to be drawn together, so I did!
This is Flapjack, the large remix hybrid jackalope esk critter, owned by fishbitties. Surprised to be giving a ride to Sheriff Sawyer, the duck, owned by gingerbread-dog, on his back. The two traveling across the desert together! Eventually becoming the bestest of friends as they traverse! You can find both creators under those usernames on Art Fight and I'm thankful for them allowing me to post my art of their OC's on my Bluesky account!

Showing off my first set of #Centaurs! These 3 are my flying centaurs! A #Pegasus, #Longma, and #Pixie! I'm pretty happy how different and cute they all turned out!
I'm hoping to do 2 more sets of centaurs, magic based and earth based. So I look forward to sharing them eventually too!
From left to right we have my chill and vibing Longma Boy, in the center is my artsy fashionable Pegasus girly, and on the right is my Pixie girl. My Pixie centaurs are more so based on using a mix of fluffy or hard shells from bugs while using bright candy colors in hopes to give her a fun fluffy fae appearance. My Pegasus girl was the simplest but the most fun I had with drawing her, I'm pretty happy with her look. My longma boy I feel could have had a longer torso and body just to differentiate his body more, but making a dragon horse centaur was pretty fun.
