A fantastic show of strength from @eisunion.bsky.social branch at Dunard Primary. Plus a show of solidarity from @unison.org.uk members. We need stability for our colleagues on temp contracts. This could be achieved through reduction of contact time - something promised by Government #SU4QE

And will those that went after the M&S employee apologise? Of course not.

Guess what?
The story about the trans M&S employee and the bra fitting is a pack of lies and distortions.

Starmer, Lammy and the rest of the rabble need to go. The recognition of Palestine as a state should not be subject to 'conditions'. Send all of the Labour front bench to the Hague!

Happy Pride. Lovely march m with lots of support along the way apart from a handful of the usual knuckle-draggers. To the idiotic Newcastle fans who decided to shout homophobic abuse when we passed you by, fuck you and enjoy your weekender.

I don't quite have the words to describe how powerful this was this evening. The documentary felt even more impactful the second time around. This was largely due to the speakers beforehand and the discussion that followed the screening. www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/gaza-docto...

A judge has ruled that police officers can’t march at Pride – because “trans rights are human rights” is too political a statement for the police to associate themselves with, and breaches impartiality rules.

Say what you want about police presence at Pride marches, but we are moving to quite an alarming state of affairs. We are seeing organisations taken to court over their support of trans people. Look at all the business with the Hampstead Heath Swimming Ponds! www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Heading out to the theatre tomorrow in Glasgow City Centre. Booked an early dinner with family for 4.00pm. Just realised what day it is tomorrow. Can't cancel the meal or show. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Israel is a terror state that is being enabled by the UK and other western powers.
What we’re witnessing is the result of Israel acting with impunity.

It is committing genocide in Gaza, ethnic cleansing in the West Bank & has bombed Lebanon, Syria, Yemen & Iran without any accountability.

The UK must end ALL arms sales, sanction Israel & expel its ambassador.

... and they said the Labour Party will move more to the left when elected. Keir Starmer and his cronies should be ashamed!
The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening.

That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk.

Shame on you, Keir Starmer.

The cutting of the winter fuel payment was a terrible decision. Certainly not something I thought a supposed 'party of the people' would do. Since then, it has been successive policies and cuts that all seem to target the most vulnerable in our society. We needed change, not red Tories.
