In a new #KM3NeT paper we have investigated whether our record neutrino event #KM3-230213A could come from a blazar.
Read our conclusion in the summary at
www.km3net.org/blazars-orig...
Blazars origin of KM3-230213A? - KM3NeT
In a new paper we test the hypothesis that the diffuse flux of blazars can explain the single KM3-230213A neutrino event.

Unravelling the masses of the three #neutrino types?!

With the #NWO money @nikhef.bsky.social received for #KM3NeT we can bring this dream a step closer.

In addition we received funding for a prototype of an acoustic neutrino detector extension of KM3NeT!

🛥️ Welcome ORCA33! 🌞

We had a new successful sea campaign:
1) We reconnected 4 lines previously installed and tested on node 1 to the newly deployed node 2
2) We deployed and connected 5 new lines to node 2

Big thanks to everyone involved for this great step!
