Loom just introduced a new global shortcut that plays a horn sound. That alone is annoying, but better yet they forgot to add make it configurable. So now I can choose to make stupid sounds OR highlight text in my notes app. Which is what I've been using this shortcut for in the past 10+ years.

Kontext: Union will mit einem Antrag zur Migrationspolitik die Brandmauer zur A*D einreißen. Das ist inakzeptabel. Jetzt Haltung zeigen, zur Demo kommen und ein klares Zeichen gegen Rechts setzen.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Last night I started to play with Cursor AI and and shortly thereafter I had an app that is actually useful to me. I've never written a line of Swift before. This is crazy 🤯 |

Also, I created a proof of concept for the same feature as a #Statamic addon.

The main thing I realized recently is how lost my mind has become. I stopped meditating, I stopped reading books, and I'm consuming an unhealthy amount of news. The worst part of all this is that I’m painfully aware of all this happening. I’m mindful enough to notice the inner workings of my mind going to shit but not mindful enough to do what’s needed to change the situation. I despise being in this silly middle ground. But at the same time, I’m grateful to know that there’s a way out of this and it only requires some dedication, a healthy dose of patience, and more importantly some kindness towards myself.
