I doubt anyone missed it, but... Lorcana got its first actual bans today.

Ended up dropping after round 5 after getting bodied three times by Ruby/Sapphire. Serves me right for making my strategy "dodge r/b into top 16 and pray."
Blue/Steel diggy hole did great in the other matches though! Blue/Steel aggro and Blue/Steel items.
Tomorrow is another day!

I was so psyched when I found out that my LGS is doing their Archazia's Island set championship on May 3. They're also a comic shop, so the Free Comicbook Day cross traffic might help us get some new players.
My judge bestie's shop is also doing theirs on May 3, so he can't come to ours. ;.;

Just got word that the case tournament I was set to judge later this month is being postponed because the TO can't get their hands on more Archazia's Island.
I had no idea there was a supply issue with this set.
Are we really just ripping that many packs chasing crabs and ducks?

Like yeah, fam, we were doing 20 lore haymakers in Ursula's Return and Shimmering Skies, too. It was just too slow to keep up with the meta in Azurite.

My strategy is simple for Archazia's Island: is it a kitty? DRAFT IT. If not, is it a puppy? DRAFT IT. If neither, pick whatever is inkable, quests for two more, or has evasive.
This is in addition to my standing Do Not Pass Heihei rule.
