I finally read the entire Goldberg piece. Holy fucking shit this is a major, major, MAJOR scandal. Not only was it a dangerous breach of national security -- they're using a consumer app that destroys the texts, thus destroying presidential records!

This is so true. Tommy Tuberville was recently bragging about how great the education system is in Alabama. They don’t need anyone telling them how to educate their kids. Alabama is 47th out of the 50 states in reading scores. If they can’t read how will they challenge an authoritarian government?

The only people dumber than Tuberville are the ones who voted for him. How could anyone listen to him talk for five minutes and think, ‘Yeah, this guy needs to represent me!’ Dumb and Dumber.

My father was 17yrs old when he lied about his age in order to join the navy and fight against this kind of hate. I am thankful that he died before 2016 and had to witness the same thing happening in our own country. He would be mortified.
