Well, today was meant to be a day for recovery from yesterday's work, but then the upstairs gal decided to do non-stop noise starting early in the morning, so i only got half the sleep i normally need... so today is The Worst™

The new drill arrived today. Really happy with it. Took apart one half of that futon I found on the curb using it, was nice getting such efficient work done.
It was still too much tho, it drained me too hard, i'll do the other half some other day.

Wow Anet really goofed in today's GW2 patch. So many bugs, and this new fashion template system is a downgrade over what we already had... It feels more like a hopeless cash grab than a real QOL improvement.
And yet, i'm not even surprised. This is Anet after all. The love-hate continues...

I pulled 3 screws out of this using a screwdriver and my carpal tunnel went NOPE.
So it's time to order a real drill, one that can actually drive screws.
Found a decent 18V Ryobi at home depot, and ordered that. Should be better than my old cheapo Sears drill. Was quite affordable, too! :D

You ever look out your window and notice your neighbor put out a futon on the side of the road, so you go knock on their door to ask if you can take it to recycle the wood for carpentry projects?

Oh no, I think i've become a GW2 Altaholic. I'm enjoying Scourge, Scrapper, Warrior and that one ez hammer auto build for Guardian, and keep swapping back and forth between my toons depending on what i'm in the mood for. Now I need to make all 3 legendary armor weights... oof

I downloaded Where Winds Meet to give it a try, and i'm sad. It's the first next-gen MMO I try, it feels great, but the game is plagued with genAI slop. NPC dialogs are literally replaced with chatGPT chat prompts. It feels so cheap. :c

I found this tealight candle holder at a local thrift store a couple weeks ago, and it's already my favorite. It has a frosted finish that gives off a soft warm light and it's the most cozy thing ever. 🥰

Just had the most random system crash, so I did the thing I've been wanting to do since I built this pc last year: Install Memtest on a USB stick and boot directly from it for a proper ram test. And it passed! Whew, now I can breathe easy knowing I dont need to drop a gran on new ram...

To any other introvert who struggles socially, by what means do you satisfy your human needs for community?
I've been crutching on MMOs for the past decade and I think it just made my social phobia worse. And with the current state of MMOs, I need new ways to socialize that wont hurt me too much.

I just tried logging out of video games and doing something else for once, so I tried watching Blade Runner 2049.
10min into the movie the main character gets back home from a hard day at work... to his AI girlfriend.

Finally had spoons to work on my indoor garden. It was getting way out of hands. I trimmed everything down and started new cuttings in water. I also moved all the pots out, cleaned the table, and put everything back on trays. :)

It KILLS ME how gamers use "Lag" for both low fps and high ping. Like you'll be at a WB in GW2 making jokes about skills not working, and someone invariably goes "lower your settings" like nah bro my game runs at 120fps at all times, changing my settings wont make Anet afford a higher tier of AWS. 💀
