Edging closer to New Years eve ... hoping for good weather. Some napping going on :-) The girls deployed raincoats for their walks, and sometimes retreated to the cave.

So, now we are in the inbetween time leading up to new year. The weather hasnt been awesome, so inside time, which means a lot of book reading and movie watching.

Busy weekend, catchinh up wit Sam, maing sure other peoples children don't get lost . Heather, in an effort to have some quiet time, had her lucnh delivered to a tree. dont worry sweetheart, I'll never tell where you are.

It's getting kind of busy around here - cousin Sam has arrived with her mom, Alex is having a friedn over for the weekend ... Heather apparently has a secret tree she hides in (away from the group tree).

It's been little wobbly today, so the kids are not quite settled. I can't say I'm that keen on earthquakes myself.

It's been a fun weekend. Heather's friends got up to a bit too much mischief perhaps .. birthday lunch today, who would have thought the time would fly by so much!

Settling into the inlaws house in the desert west of Roswell; Girls off doing what they do and letting off some steam after the trip. Probably wont see them till they apppear miraculously at dinner time

So, things seem to have gotten back to "normal" - the girls are happily planning a visit to Blackwater draw and (as Heather puts it) being lost in the desert

From what I can tell, the girls "twin language" is a mixture of several languages, and makes no sense to other people except "experts". Which is fine if you don't want to be understood.
