Somehow I'm only now realizing that I'm going to need to buy a full-length mirror if I'm going to be able to easily take good and maybe even sexy pictures of my whole body like I want to when I move. So. Last night after work I saw that I had a job offer but after reading it over I declined it. This was my dinner last night and I have plenty of leftovers for today and maybe tomorrow too! I made udon shrimp veggie stir-fry with black pepper sauce (that was mixed with the veggies and shrimp before they were added to the udon noodles)

Well, it's my birthday today. I took the day off from work but I don't really have any other concrete plans because I'm still in a place I'd rather not be in, but I'm going to try to make the most of it.

Every year on Labor Day, especially when I work, I'm reminded of a customer who I was ringing up for 50-something items who said something akin to "sucks to have to labor on Labor Day, good thing I don't!" and laughed as if it was the funniest joke he's ever told.

Maybe it's about time that I give Hollow Knight a proper try. I've had it for a really long time on my Switch but I barely played any of it since I didn't like using the Joycons, but now I have a pro controller and a capture card so I could play it while sitting at my PC.

Sometimes I come up with lyrics for a song I'd like to write and can even hear & sing it in my head or out loud if I wanted to, but I have no sense for music composition and wouldn't know how to write the music to go with it so I could make it an actual song.

I'm pretty content with my current job but I'm going to start trying to get a new job in a couple weeks (after a vacation with my family). I'm only part-time at my current job and I don't have any benefits so I need to find something with benefits, preferably WFH from anywhere.

Update on my moving process:
My move has been delayed again. I can't really say when I'll be moving now, but it will hopefully be before the end of this year. Mostly depends on how long it takes to find an apartment that matches the requirements I need, and how quickly I can get a new job.
