My depiction of Xena, Warrior Princess and her mare Argo. In my version, Xena still has bright, light blue eyes and straight, chest-length black hair, but she's a lot more muscular, she has a darker/tanner skin tone crossed with all sorts of battle scars and one across her neck, and she's wearing an armor heavily inspired by Macedonian / Alexander The Great type of armor. She's looking off-frame, with a serious, thoughtful, distant expression. Across her waist, she has a Bulgarian-inspired traditional coins. She's standing in a golden wheat field, holding a xiphos sword with one hand, and the other resting on the muzzle of her mare, Argo; Argo is a palomino horse (golden coat, white, curly mane), and is behind Xena, resting her head against Xena's shoulder. The painting is digital, but style and composition and mimicking traditional oil paintings (Bouguereau, especially) digital illustration, mimicking a more traditional, painterly style. A stark black horse running against a white, cold landscape, snow and fog making it look hazy and dream-like. There are two black, curved horns coming from the horse's forehead.
