The temperament Townsend talks about is also why Pato will always be a “fan fave” and Palou won’t. Fans have emotions. But ones. It’s hard to fall in love with a guy who is so even keeled.

My eyes are watching Ferrucci have a totally mediocre quali. My ears are hearing announcers act like he’s a total phenom. It’s bizarrely dissonant.
