Happy holidays with Holey Endosomes. We share our work using 3D EM demonstrating that tiny perforations in endosomes in neurons allow access of cyrtosolic alpha-synuclein to endocytosed alpha-synuclein pre-formed fibrils, thereby triggering toxic alpha-synuclein aggregation.
