Forgotten Friends to Lovers He's the NICE (all caps) Supervillain! Dangernoodle Oh! We've got a #Meetcute in the City Morgue!! And the text accross the bottom reads: "Anyway, if you want to know what the story is ABOUT (all caps) please see the next image" There is a small symbol of a hand pointing to the right. The Blurb The day after telekinetic supervillain (and billionaire philanthropist), Stetson Nadenheimer dies, he wakes up on the autopsy table and falls in lust with the man hired to cut his cold, dead corpse open. The problem is that the forensic pathologist is Doctor Julian Dandridge, the part-time superhero, Scatter. It’s probably a bad idea for a supervillain to get into bed with a superhero. Probably. Not that it stops him, but trying to start a relationship with a reluctant hero without getting caught turns out to be easier said than done. Between midnight meetings over games of checkers and kinky secrets, Stetson and Julian begin a tremulous romance. Unfortunately for them, there’s an actual villain watching from the shadows, waiting for Stetson to stumble.

“And then we get to find out how they made a telekinetic machine,” Dying Light said—and she did so with a bright grin and a murderous glint in her eye. “That kinda thing would be damn useful. Imagine if we could make it pocket sized and carrying around our own personal shield generators!” “You’re basically indestructible already,” Lockley pointed out. “Oh no. I’m very destructible. I just never stay destructed.” She clapped her hands together and set off at a brisk pace towards the bank. “Besides, I never said it’d be for me only. Come on kids! Let’s go ask some nice, polite questions.” Julian coughed. “With your swords.” “With my swords, yes.”

I bring you Stetson having some feelings about a looming...visit from his family!
Rosalie sighed. “Stetson.” “I know, I know.” I heaved another heavy sigh. “Do we know if she’s bringing anyone with her?” “You know she’d never deign to inform us. She’s staying at The Royale Towers and she’s booked an entire floor of suites.” I rolled my eyes. “Oooh, as Jules would say, swanky. How’d she manage to get the entire top floor to herself at this time of year?” (Summer came with peak supervillain activity and in defiance of common sense, people tended to flock to Kinsley City like it was a tourist destination–to see all the supers flying about. A testament to human curiosity, and all too often a sad cautionary tale about what curiosity does to cats.) “She apparently reserved it months ago,” Rosalie replied and shook her head. “I’m still here for another two weeks, so you’ll have to put up with her. I know you know how to handle yourself appropriately, but no making headlines while I’m away, please?” I went back to pacing. “I’ll do my best but make no promises.”
