does it make sense to anyone else when I say sometimes, IRL or in games, I 'blur' my eyes to lose a bit of visual detail but to gain massive awareness of any movement/minor details about what I'm looking for?

I hate to do this, but my trip to Oregon, despite my kiddo insisting on paying for SO much, really dropped my starting funds for the month and so I'm running afoul of some bills, thankfully a few friends have helped with another major one but I still need to keep from going overdraft. (cont)
