Here’s a comment for the people who are upset that MN hasn’t charged Jonathan Ross already:

If you just Leeeroy Jenkins this shit you will lose and you will empower fascism and murder.

It is indescribably hard to prosecute cops for murder. It is even hard when the murder is ON VIDEO.

I don't know where my friend Sam Couch got this, but he used to tell me that when things were overwhelming: Focus on and do the next right thing.

I would pay good money for a news media that covers San Francisco's Board of Supervisors.

Good lord. Apparently these emails needed to be a meeting.
SPD Chief Sent Email Overstating New Drug Diversion Policy, Sparking False Narrative in Right-Wing Media

Spent part of the weekend reporting out this story, only to have KOMO drop a false, ragebait version that went predictably viral on RW social media

Since it's a new year so I am starting a new reading goal, and I am increasingly frustrated with Bookwyrm, I'm giving Storygraph a shot for my social reading. Follow me if you want: app.thestorygraph.com/profile/king...

The more we use impeachment without the necessary votes to follow that with removal, the weaker Congress looks and the more meaningless impeachment becomes. Republicans did not vote to remove him *when he tried to kill them.*

I've already read at least 10 completely different things that Congressional Democrats should say or do instead of whatever they are saying or doing.

Y'all are so absolutely sure.

I'm on day 25 of being unable to log in to my account. The stored value on my Clipper Card is about to run out and I won't be able to reload it from my transportation benefits card.
As a longtime transit advocate, @mtcbata.bsky.social, I hate to say that the rollout of Clipper 2.0 has been an absolute disaster. Two of my Clipper cards are blocked and I can't get access; the website crashes when I request account details; waiting times for customer service are too long.

I woke up with the worst headache, and unfortunately it's not because I made poor but fun choices last night.

I set a goal to read 30 books in 2026. I will likely achieve this by mid-year. Given my lack of reading mojo during the pandemic (9 & 15 in 2021 & 2022), I decided to set modest reading goals. 24 books in 2023 (46 actual), 26 in 2024 (78 actual), 28 in 2025 (69 actual), and now 30.
