it's so rare to have a show that these days that is invested in show don't tell, that respects your intelligence, that is about something, and I don't just mean about something in the vapid Disney "this one's about family" way.

it's so rare to have a show that these days that is invested in show don't tell, that respects your intelligence, that is about something, and I don't just mean about something in the vapid Disney "this one's about family" way.

I just want to gush about this show, it deserves all the love, but i also want to avoid overselling it at the same time. I will say that it's a bit of a slow burn, but burns so brightly.

I'm just left feeling really good about it, I could probably count on one hand how many time's I've been in a group of guys just casually talking about how they deal with their emotions.
I'm sure there's some biological sociological reasons for that but, I think it's maladaptive at this point

So after our D&D game wrapped, I was talking with my friends about the idea of going to therapy, then I suggested we role playing a mock therapy session, not very seriously, but me and one of my players started off and then it became a 4 way conversation about how we all deal with our feelings.
