The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

The Ward Clerk still doesn’t know how to take the kids off the app and I feel like this has to be a violation of their data rights.
Latest update. I was told that the ward clerk can remove information from the app but the ward clerk doesn’t know how.
I’m currently in a back and forth with Church Account Support to remove minors names from the app. Not making any progress yet…

When Oaks says that exaltation “only [comes] through faithfulness to the covenants of an eternal marriage between a man and a woman in the holy temple” all I can hear is a callback to the Church’s doctrine that polygamy is the law of the celestial kingdom 🤮 #ldsconf

My #ldsconf tradition? Texting the people I love to affirm their beautiful, nuanced existence in or out of the church. I’m left to wonder, whom did Christ consider “lukewarm”? Whom did he call out as the weakest link?

Am I watching Sister Wives for the drama? Of course. Am I also watching because the women on the show remind me of neighbors and friends that I miss? Very much so.
