The app definitely is not Chinese enough

So because TikTok is supposedly going away and Facebook has become persona non grata, I’ve tried the following:

Bluesky: Meh. It’s basically gluten free

Lemon8: Literally, a worse TikTok

Snapchat: Like Vine with better resolution. My algorithm seems to be stuck on “slutty”

Sadly, I can’t dump my dried up Christmas tree into the gutter this year. I have to saw it up and shove it into the green bin provided by the city of San Diego.

However.

Nearly every post I ever did on Facebook did not age well.

At all.

I know.

I am an aging and self proclaimed “edgy Gen-Xer”.

But if the algorithm or third party fact checkers can sense cringe and then immediately delete it.

I could get behind that.

So, I went over to T-Mobile and told the sales dude to turn off my voicemail. I haven’t had a voicemail I’ve wanted to hear maybe ever. He was able to turn it off though seemed confused by my request.

Pure bliss! No more random unsolicited calls!

My voicemail turned back on within 24 hours
