These little fuckers are still here. Fewer of them and many are brown. I hope this means they are near the end of their life cycle for this year.

Our pool has a leak. A very middle classed first world issue to consider in today's #coffeemoment.
I'm all for making a sunken garden out of it but I suspect we'll be repairing it and then filling it with rain water.
Seems a ridiculous use of water until it's 35°C.

Our pool has a leak. A very middle classed first world issue to consider in today's #coffeemoment.

The last Monday of the month; the start of the last not-crazy week at my desk. I'm going to consciously enjoy this week because the crazy times are coming.

It is a perfect, beautiful morning. After days of rain, mist and hot mugginess the clear sky and slightly cool breeze are bliss. So I'm just sitting outside enjoying it with the dogs. I'm not even reading - just being.

The critters have largely left - finally. And the trees don't look much worse for the wear. They seemed to replace their leaves pretty much immediately. Amazing really. #NatureIsLit

No screens in bed is an amazingly simple yet effective thing to do. I'm sleeping better, reading more, and just feel better all round.

Wholewheat cous cous cooked in roasted tomatoes and coconut milk, stirred through with baby spinach and then topped with an assortment of carrots I pulled out of the ground this morning and red onion, and drizzled with a tahini lemon dressing and sesame seeds. Very yellow. Very tasty.
