lol 99% sure that, while i made my flight, which ofc is most important, my bag did not so my bag is currently over the middle of the atlantic ocean while i am in nyc. good thing i am not at all going to get extremely irrationally stressed about this, nope not me

nothing bonds an entire airplane full of primarily americans than a delay that means we all have <45 minutes to make connections back to the states. this guy was like yo we’re from detroit we got this and i was like i feel the same way about new york except my coalition is smaller

came to the airport extremely early bc i was like well it’s better to panic at the airport instead of at home but now im just panicked in an extremely public space which is actually possibly worse (except i am here and my bag is checked in so it’s all gonna be okay)

i am normally very good at figuring things like taxes out for myself. it is 10/12; the actual final deadline is 10/15. just now realizing i put in my 2023 W2 for UT because i didn’t get a W2 in 2024 bc i was on fellowship 🤦🏻♀️

went to decathlon to get things i knew i needed for the marathon and realized i am close enough that i need to figure out my clothing and plan for before and after in case i need to buy other things and that just really really freaked me out. it’s all finally happening.

I've been stuck in freeze mode for weeks, but the past two days were particularly bad...sometimes you gotta send yourself an email in the middle of the night with the subject "get yo shit together" with allll of your panic thoughts and then go on and get your shit together. so that's today's goal💅

looked outside this AM and made the decision that we were gonna do this in the rain. first 6 miles it was actually pleasant. was positively pouring for the last 3+. but we made it (and now it’s like sunny lol)

every sunday, i make a to-do list for myself that implies a level of productivity i have never once experienced in my life. why do i keep thinking i can magically accomplish all of the leftovers from the prior week in one day?! i think there’s a term for this (insanity)
