I know I’m going to get flack but when I, a nervous flyer, purchased a window seat, I don’t have to close the shade. Sorry you don’t like, even after I explain why, but just like someone can recline, I can keep my shade open. And it’s a daytime flight! Accept my compromise to close it a bit.
