As a former Army officer, this move by the current administration disgusts me. It's nothing but bigotry and intolerance. A soldier is a soldier. Not allowing good soldiers to serve openly is wrong. They do not deserve to be treated that way while serving their country.

Hypothetically,If FEMA goes away, what happens to home owners and other insurance rates ?
Climate change looks like it will make rates so high, home insurers will want equity in your house as a way of holding down rates
