Maynooth Library had a surprise visit by Fantastic Mr. Fox! Renowned for his shyness and fame, he insisted on talking to us at our staff room window! He also heard it was free to join the library service & I told him that's fine, as long as he produces some ID! What a handsome chappie he is! 🦊

The Morrocan Ambassador Lahcan Mahrauoi dropped in with students from local primary & secondary schools, for the launch of "Christians in Morocco : Living Together" exhibition. Students from St Brigid's Primary School sang a song to welcome the Ambassador & presented him with a St Brigid's Cross.
The Ambassador kindly brought some Morroccan treats for everyone to try. Kildare Libraries presented the Ambassador with a copy of "The Book of Kildare" by Josephine Hardiman.
