11 years ago today I was lying in a hospital bed having my last dialysis session before prepping for a double transplant. A 9 hour operation overnight, waking up on the 20th with a new kidney + pancreas. Life saving. I still don't know whether to be happy or sad about it all. The guilt weighs heavy.

Being courageous in times of despair is never easy. Hurt people hurt people.

I heard this today on a podcast about ADHD and depression. It really caught my attention and feels very relevant to the crap I'm trying to get through and my decision to step into the shadows for a while.

If you let your eyes go just a little out of focus it's easy to pretend this is actually Twitter and nothing has changed :D
