There’s about 1000 to go through then there’s the few thousand absentee votes. Will be next week before we know anything

Not true. Mon owns her house but no other properties as per parliamentary register.

I was booth captain at Hawthorn Central. In 2022 the libs were so bad we had to call police on them. They were reasonable this year. As in 2022, the booth smashed it for Mon

Too close. FWIW, I have hope... I had never been involved in politics before Mon. It has been a joy volunteering for her; I even volunteered in her Canberra office. She works incredibly hard and she has done so much for the community. Fingers crossed

What Mon has done for my Kooyong community is beyond. This dill is everything I despise in straight white pale stale men

410 pages of legislation, with zero time for scrutiny.

A stitch up by the major parties to entrench their power, and damage democracy.

This is Labor at their very worst.
Labor and the Coalition have just joined forces to vote down the referral of the newly introduced ‘Electoral Reform Amendment Bill 2024’ to the ‘Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters’ for inquiry. No scrutiny, no public input! #DemocracyFail #auspol

A question for Bishop Bird, of Ballarat, who instructed his lawyers to go all the way to High Court to avoid paying damages to a complainant of child sexual abuse on basis that priests aren’t technically employed by his diocese:
Did your priests accept JobKeeper during COVID pandemic?
If so, why?

I cook food for an elderly man in The Boroondara cook’s program. Landlord owns all 8 properties in the old shabby block. This winter, his heating was removed and a spit system put in. His rent has gone up by $300 a month. Owner has no mortgage! Tenant paying for the essential service #shitrentals

Frydenberg declined to stand, it’s Amelia Hammer who is the Liberal candidate in Kooyong
