There's two reasons I love this test knit. Firstly, because of the nutty brown colour but also because it's for a grandson so am really pleased the pattern can be for boys as well as girls. 🥰 #knitsky #knitting

Ever since I started designing kids' stuff I have been interested in how just a few different stitches can create interesting texture. This is the Tuppence, from 2017, the 12 month size, and I'm so pleased the knitter has said: "I have quite a lot of fun knitting it" 🥰 💚 #knitsky #knitting

For #showmeyourknits #firsts this was the first cardigan I made myself (a long time ago!) and felt really pleased. The only quibble I had was the way the double ribbing joined the lacework but now I see that the pattern has been updated with single ribbing and it looks much nicer. Link in comments.
