The next meeting of KHAS will be on Monday, 10th November at our usual time of 7:45pm at the Kenilworth Senior Citizens Centre, Abbey End car park. Our speaker will be Peter Walters who will be talking about “the Gunpowder Plot and Coventry”, a suitable subject for this time of year. The Gunpowder Plotters Peter Walters was a Feature Writer with the Coventry Telegraph for many years and has written three books on Coventry's history, the most recent, will be out in paperback next year.

The Abbey Museum will be open for Heritage Open Days on 13th and 14th, and 20th and 21st September. Free admission.

There are also guided tours of the Abbey Ruins by Jan Cooper on Saturday, Sunday 20th, 21st at 3:00. Bookings taken at the museum on the day.
