For me, videogames are about discovery, learning, implementing those learnings, and a whole lot of dopamine. Notice how graphics are not inherently necessary for a great experience - although they can help with immersion.

Since I started making things - products, articles, a podcast series - my respect for people who make things - literally anything - has increased a thousand times. I mostly suck at making things, and I’ve been doing it for years.
