I feel like we're just going to add the word "deep" to all of the AI products now. Kinda like how all of the streaming services added the suffix "plus".

"deep research"

Idk, the name kinda loses its cachet after the release of DeepSeek.

Anthrologic, Anthropologie, and Anthropic are all companies in the AI sphere—confusing, I know 😅

I've been working with AI tools a bit, and I gotta say, it's made me more productive. This got me 🤔: could we ever live in a world where we produce more in half the time and still be paid the same? This would allow us to spend more time living life with our families. Is that possible in capitalism?

What I understand re the data model in atproto so far.

- posts/content encoded as DAG-CBOR
- data get unique CIDs (hashes) tied to their exact content
- CIDs are self certifying meaning if it changes = new CID

Could we ever reach a point where we can address disasters, crises, or urgent issues without politicizing everything? Where our focus is on solving the problem at hand, rather than turning it into a political battleground?

Mostly been doing less technical stuff with atproto today and yesterday. Been busy so just doing some lite reading here and there. Below are a few things that I came across that I think are cool re the protocol.
January 16, 2025 at 4:49 AM
Mostly wrapping my head around lexicons, the firehose and labels. Because I have a bit of blockchain exp, I understand DIDs (did:plc:*) are like wallet addresses. Instead of PoW or POS, atproto uses DNS + crypto for verification and consensus. Probably off, but thats how I understand things atm.

Going to try to document my progress building something on the AT Protocol. Ok, lets sum up where I'm at so far.

- got something basic going in deno by ref other atproto projects
- struggled with OAuth for a bit because deno didn't support a certain crypto operation

Some context, just created the foundation of a 3rd party app that uses atproto.

Be on the look out, more to come from us soon 👀
