Labour Cllr for Moseley Ward. Socialist. Trade unionist. Dog lover. I sew and crochet. RT's are not an endorsement.
We stand firmly against the divisive rhetoric peddled by groups like Britain First who are marching in our City on Saturday. We have refused an application to use Victoria Square using our no platform policy. Brum is a strong and diverse city, and we stand together against far-right extremism.

I'm deeply concerned by the policing of the recent national demonstration for Palestine.

It's essential that there is no undermining of long-held civil rights including the right to peacefully protest.

I've joined over 50 Parliamentarians in writing to the Home Secretary about this.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times I report and sort flytipping at this location there is always more. I am pleased to see that the fridge freezer has finally been removed. Always working for a cleaner, greener Moseley so please don't dump!

I attended the #HolocaustMemorialDay commemoration today marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Lovely to see so many young people involved and wanting a better future without prejudice or persecution. #HMD2025

I have campaigned for and championed youth services for the last 25 years across the UK and for nearly a decade as a cllr in Birmingham. To see a renewed commitment to protecting Birmingham Youth Service and for rebuilding it as soon as possible is welcomed.

Still finding more flytipping across the Ward. Dumping like this is happening on a daily basis across our community, and is not only anti social but is criminal behaviour. There is really no excuse. #cleanermoseley

Our last Ward meeting approved plans to spend ward funds on traffic calming, cycle parking and to develop schemes that restrict vehicle access on some of our heavily congested residential roads. #safermoseley
