I finally managed to get a bit closer to the Bald Eagle pair today thanks to the thick fog keeping them at low altitudes. 🪶

I wish we had more Tits here, but I'm still a fan of a good Tufted Titmouse. 🪶

A Song Sparrow hanging out in the backyard this afternoon. I used to call these birds "McDonald's birds" when I was younger, because I'd always see them hanging out in the parking lot of McDonald's grabbing food. 🪶

My most commonly seen Wren - the Carolina Wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus). This species is actually the first bird that got me interested in learning more about birds. One of these little stinkers built a nest in my boot, so I got to watch them hatch and fledge. After that, I was all in on birding.🪶

I spotted this gorgeous Swainson's Thrush (Catharus ustulatus) by accident as it wasn't making any noise or moving about. We just watched each other for a bit before I moved on. A nice change of pace from trying to keep up with the Warblers. 🪶

Since the male American Redstart that I posted yesterday seemed to be of interest to you all, I figure I should post the female I photographed yesterday. She was every bit as frenetic and difficult to photograph. 😅🪶
