When I first saw Wicked (the theatrical production, not the film) a few years back, I somehow missed the identity struggles of Elpheba. I watched the NBC special this evening and (mentally) slapped myself for the oversight, but it took on a new meaning for me. 💚

It's been just over a week since I got my name fixed in the company directory. Today it got fixed in Outlook, my login screen, and basically everything else that doesn't require my legal name!

Is it the E? This rollercoaster of emotions I've been experiencing these past few days? I was basically manic on Wednesday. Thursday through mid-day today I was all over the place, then I crashed, hard. After a good cry I feel better, but this seems weird.

Went to the otolaryngologist today for a videostroboscopy of my larynx. I will meet with this speech pathologist tomorrow morning.
Gender-affirming vocal care is hard enough to come by, and I had to drive 181 miles for this, but I have high hopes!

Finally got myself a void cube and a mirror cube! The void cube isn't as hard as I remember, but it's still fun to solve. The mirror cube, though, is nuts. I did "solve" it, technically, but until I get the centers rotated to match the faces, it's going to bother me a little.
