stop echoing vendor talking points!

ai has re-introduced the "build time" we've spent last 15 years to get rid of. i'm back to sitting around and waiting, losing focus, thiking of another task, starting that, forgetting what i was doing, re-doing it again.

Imagine being hired by a startup in 5 years where the founders have vibe coded everything and your responsibility is to maintain that code base 😬

single purpose variables are so confusing
January 16, 2025 at 9:28 AM
8 years ago we change this piece of code to delay press in by 200 ms. It's still very confusing. Why would you want to wait 200 ms for a press in?

Feels like that everytime I want to do some fun, Github Actions are always failing me for different reasons and I have to push commits and run because its so hard to figure what actually fails
