GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

New art! This is Alice's bedroom, and your first peek at Cana, her cat. Decided to do both day & night versions, because why not? Also, forgot to add the time onto the clock, so uh, just imagine 1:43 is on there. In other news, local folks save the date- August 15 from 5-7:30 pm. I'll explain later!

What's this? An actual art post?! Wish I could say I've got a bunch of art stocked up to post, but alas, I don't. This one is ink and a Prismacolor pencil done in an 11x14 sketchbook, which isn't made for wet media, but I made it work anyway. 😉

Very productive shower today. Not only did I come out clean, but also with more ideas for the graphic novel, ideas for 2 more, AND a companion.

I think I'm gonna be busy for a good long while... 🥹
