I’d like to share an interview featuring a couple of my former colleagues! If I’m fortunate to be elected Governor, I plan to bring the same dedication and commitment to our work that I demonstrated as mayor. Let’s continue to make a positive impact together!

Someone asked me: “If you were Governor right now, what could you do to reopen the government?” Here’s how I’d approach it both practically and strategically. 🧵(1/7)

New Mexico’s malpractice crisis is real.
Hospitals are losing doctors faster than they can replace them, and patients are paying the price. Lawmakers now call it one of our biggest healthcare challenges.

I’ve always loved football and basketball, but rarely watched baseball. This World Series completely changed that what an incredible matchup! Huge congrats to the Dodgers on back-to-back titles and to the Blue Jays for an amazing run. Truly great baseball from both teams. ⚾️

SNAP is one of America’s most successful programs against hunger. It began in the 1960s so families wouldn’t have to choose between rent and food. Today it helps millions put real meals on the table.

Sam doesn’t want to debate me, because he knows I’m right about medical malpractice reform. He’s supporting the medical malpractice attorneys!😞
Why does AG Bregman want to debate only Secretary Haaland but not you, Mayor Miyagishima?
a) He can't count as high as 3.
b) He has never heard of Las Cruces.
c) He is being cynically disingenuous.
October 24, 2025 at 4:55 AM
I’ll debate you Sam, and Deb can join us. Let’s do three debates before the end of the year. ABQ, Santa Fe and Las Cruces, I can get it arranged. “Don’t Back Down”! 😊
There are *THREE* candidates for the Democratic nomination for Governor! Bregman thinks he is clever by challenging only @DebHaalandnm.bsky.social to a debate and ignoring @KenMiyagishima.bsky.social. Deb Haaland is CORRECT to not even dignify this dishonest challenge with a response. #NeverBregman

I believe New Mexico can heal its divisions. Real leadership means listening, earning trust, and working for everyone, not just those who already agree with you. 🧵(1/6)

I had a chance to speak at the indivisible meeting yesterday (Sunday). I thought it went well, I also purchased this shirt as a donation.

It was wonderful to see all our friends at the 112th Northern Navajo fair!

We’re humbled by the courage and fortitude you shared in your stories with and we intend to help all New Mexicans achieve their dreams for a State that truly serves the needs of all of us.

Thank you!
