It was so fun to participate in the 2nd Copenhagen HIV Comorbidity Workshop! Inspired by the work of colleagues and junior scientists working to improve the lives those with HIV. In our current climate, meetings like this are especially meaningful and remind us (well, me at least) why we do this.

If I weren’t a doctor, I like to think I would have been an investigative reporter. Like a clinician-scientist: asking probing questions, connecting dots, and patiently putting in the work to uncover truths, even when the findings lead to uncomfortable conclusions. This one is chilling.

My #medsky journey began as a kid with severe asthma. An amazing doctor (Dr. Geraghty, RIP) took care of me, treated me as more than a patient with a disease, and remains an inspiration. Happy to now work in the clinic and research settings to help others breathe as well as they can.
