"I was five years old when I first saw him. I called him Mr. Skelequin. I was scared at first, but he soon became my friend. Mom said he would go away when I got older." Little girl is scared upon seeing a skeletal creature in the mirror. As the years go on, she grows to like him. She drinks tea with him and talks to him while she draws. He only ever seems to appear in reflections. "He never left. He's always there. Even in my most private moments. Some days I can handle it. Other days I can't. Last year, my nightmare went from bad to worse." Mr. Skelequin appears behind the girl in different points of her life: when she loses her first tooth as a little girl, when she's doing her make up as a teenager, and when she's just got out of the shower as an adult. On good days, she sings and washes dishes. On bad days, she cries under the covers. One day after work, someone follows her home. An attacker holds the woman to the bed, knife to her throat. He instructs her to undress, which she starts to do. In the reflection, Mr. Skelequin grabs the attacker's knife hand. The attacker appears to stab himself in the throat, spraying the woman in blood. Mr. Skelequin breathes on the mirror and starts to write in the fog. The woman is terrified upon what is written. It says "MINE"
