A truly magnificent sight (slightly ruined by Windsor Castle).

It’s such a shame that things BlueSky is ‘generally’ wrong about are the basic facts of life.

I know there are much more serious wrongs in the world today, yet it remains just *wrong* to watch Newcastle playing in green.

Jolyon has now reached the Daily Mail “Enemies of the People” level of legal commentary (and respect for the law)
February 13, 2026 at 7:22 PM
Has Jolyon ever explained why he thinks that women should not be able to have any spaces at all that aren’t open to men?
Or is he to busy “winning” to find the time?
🤔

Oh God. Is it really going to come down to Reform or the Greens?🤢

Nice change to be able to post a Graun piece that qualifies as righteous.

And now we enter an endless wait while senior Cabinet figure pretend that they don’t understand what this statement of obvious fact actually means for the marketing and sale of milk.

Because anyone wearing a dress must be female, obvs.
“…a female in a dress with brown hair”.
Really? We’re sure about the ‘female’ bit?

Oh lord. The use of they/them pronouns to refer to this individual makes the piece simply unreadable. (Also, “they” can’t even be consistent, constantly using “I” rather than “we”…😺)

What are the chances, eh, BlueSky?

Good to see BS moderating British cultural artefacts. Might have to post Michelangelo’s David and see what happens.
Supposing to identify the obvious sex of a person is transphobic. It might be “her face”.

The Graun now publishing transphobic letters?😺

Green Party think you should be allowed to attack women with sledgehammers.
Pleased to see the jury make this decision.

We need to have eyes wide open this is exactly why the Government wants to abolish juries.

People protesting against a genocide are not the criminals here - it's the politicians who continue to provide cover.

In 2026, unfortunately, it’s hard to know whether there’s any actual commitment to shared and accurate pictures of reality without an accompanying acknowledgement that the terms women/men refer to adult human females/males.
Values worth defending.

With current information environment wonder if useful to add respect for truth(s)/facts/science (?) to enshrine Enlightenment heritage of the EU in its values.

Can democracy (or humanity?) survive without a deep commitment to shared and accurate pictures of reality?
